MTI Water Technologies Inc. designed and built a 60 GPM Reverse Osmosis and Deionized water system for a semiconductor manufacturer in the Philippines. The system consistently generates 60 GPM of deionized water for the company's production department. Utilizing multimedia and activated carbon filters, the Filtration System enhances the reduction of turbidity and total suspended solids (TSS). Additionally, a water softener system addresses the elevated hardness of the feed water. A 2-pass RO system significantly removes contaminants in the from the feed water. The RO product water undergoes CEDI treatment to elevate water resistivity to > 10 MΩ-cm, followed by UV treatment to further eliminate microorganisms. A polishing system is incorporated to further elevate water resistivity to 18 MΩ-cm and a final UV sterilization treatment is installed to ensure compliance to stringent water quality requirement. 40 GPM 20 GPM Reverse Osmosis and Deionized Water System

MTI Water Technologies Inc. designed and built a 40/20 GPM Reverse Osmosis and Deionized water system for a semiconductor manufacturer in the Philippines. The system generates 40 GPM of deionized water wherein the 20 gpm will be further processed as Cold DI water. The system consists of Filtration System, RO System, CEDI system, UV System, Non Regenerable Polisher System, and in-house Clean-In-Place System. Filtration system consists of Bag Filtration and Activated Carbon Filtration. In this step, filtration allows the removal of particles, suspended solids and other impurities that contributes to the turbidity of the water. For the RO system, the system high pressure to remove contaminants from the water. After RO system, the water will go through the CEDI system that utilizes ion-exchange membranes and electrical current to remove ions hereby producing deionized water. The UV system remove the pathogenic microorganisms, and this will be removed by the installed safety filter. The non-regenerable polisher will aid in increasing the resistivity once again and the treated water will be distributed to production line. Moreover, the system has its own CIP system that makes RO Membranes cleaning more convenient and cost efficient. The project presented substantial cost saving. opportunities, and convenience to the client that contributed to increased profitability.

MTI Water Technologies Inc. designed and built a 150 GPM Waste Water Recycling System for a semiconductor manufacturer in the Philippines. The system is designed to treat the combined discharge of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and treated Industrial Treatment plant (IWTP) with 150 gallons per minute (gpm) capacity for a planned reuse. It is composed of a pre-treatment system consisting of MMF and ACF systems to reduce turbidity and free chlorine. The pre-treated water is then pumped to the RO system. The Single Pass two-stage set-up (SPRO) will reject dissolved and suspended materials including monovalent salts resulting to RO product of very minimal total dissolved solid content. The RO product will then transfer to Raw water tank for planned reuse. MTI helped the company achieve resource and financial savings. Through the recycling system, the treated wastewater can be used wide range of beneficial purposes such as residential, landscape irrigation and industrial processes eliminating the need to purchase extra volumes of water.
